What this app can access
Tringify wrote this section from version 1.0.0 of Tringify for Fake Ship: it lists what merchants allow the app to do when they install it. It changes when a new version of the app changes that access. The rest of this policy is written by the app's developer.
Store API access
Server-to-server access to store resources.
- Locations — Read. View store locations and inventory addresses
- Orders — Read and write. Manage orders and fulfillment orders
Store events the app receives
Tringify sends the app these events about the stores that install it, with only the fields the app declared.

Data deletion
Because the app can read customer data, Tringify forwards every shopper's request for a copy of their data and every erasure to the app, and the app must answer them.
48 hours after a store uninstalls the app (or at once when the store is deleted), Tringify asks the app to delete the data it holds for that store.

Privacy policy — Tringify for Fake Ship
Tringify for Fake Ship connects your store to Fake Ship, a demo courier. No parcel moves and no money changes hands.
What the app keeps
- Your store's access token for this app, encrypted.
- Your Fake Ship API key and the signing secret of the webhook endpoint the app creates for you, encrypted.
- For each fulfillment order it received: the order and fulfillment ids, the Fake Ship shipment, AWB, tracking and label links, payment mode and cash on delivery amount, and which scans reached the order.
What the app shares
To book a shipment, the app sends Fake Ship the pickup location's address and phone number, the order's shipping name, address, phone number and email, and the items, quantities, weight and value to ship. The app itself doesn't keep this customer data.
Deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes your access token and Fake Ship key and removes the app's webhook endpoint at Fake Ship. All remaining data for your store is deleted when Tringify sends the store data erasure request after the uninstall.
